Complaints procedure/dispute resolution

At Sächsische Aufbaubank – Förderbank –, we handle complaints in accordance with the minimum requirements for complaint management for credit institutions pursuant to Circular no. 06/2018 issued by the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin). You can use our electronic contact form to submit complaints about credit transactions or the provision of other banking services.

We will usually reply to your complaint within approximately 5 banking days. If, in exceptional cases, we are unable to handle your complaint within this period, we will inform you of the reasons for such delay and give you an estimated response time. You will receive our final written response within a maximum of 20 banking days from receipt of your complaint.

To settle disputes, Sächsische Aufbaubank – Förderbank – is also obligated to take part in dispute resolution procedures conducted by the Ombudsman of the Association of German Public Banks. Access is regulated by the rules of procedure, which can be viewed online (currently available in German only). Please address complaints in writing to:
